Business Information

When you register for Assistly-AI, we collect information about your business including your business name, contact email address, website URL, and billing information necessary to process your subscription payments.

Connected Meta Account Data

When you connect your Meta accounts including Facebook Pages, WhatsApp Business numbers, Instagram accounts, and WhatsApp Messaging, we receive access tokens and account identifiers required to interact with Meta's APIs and WhatsApp services on your behalf. We do not collect your personal Meta login credentials. All WhatsApp and Messaging data processing complies with Meta's Messaging Platform policies.

Messages Processed via API

In order to provide AI-powered automated responses, Assistly-AI processes incoming and outgoing messages through your connected channels including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram Direct Messages. These messages are received via official Meta APIs and WhatsApp Business APIs and are temporarily processed and stored to enable conversation continuity and AI training.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized usage data about how you interact with the Assistly-AI platform, including features used, pages visited, and performance metrics. This data is used solely to improve the platform experience. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 90 days unless you request earlier deletion.

3. Third-Party Services

Assistly-AI integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its functionality:

  • Meta Platforms APIs — Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp Messaging, Instagram Direct Messages, Instagram Graph API, and Facebook Pages API for message processing, automation, and comment management. All WhatsApp and Messaging integrations comply with Meta's Messaging Platform terms.
  • WhatsApp Business API — For secure processing and sending of messages through WhatsApp Business accounts using official Meta infrastructure.
  • Cloud Hosting Providers — We use enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure providers to host and operate the platform. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and applicable data protection laws.

All third-party integrations are governed by the respective providers' terms of service and privacy policies in addition to this policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your business account data and conversation history only for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Conversation data is retained to enable your team to review past interactions and to improve AI accuracy.

Retention Schedule

  • Account & Message Data: Deleted within 30 days of account cancellation
  • Analytics Data: Automatically deleted after 90 days
  • Backup Data: Retained for 90 days for disaster recovery purposes

You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time by contacting our support team. Deletion requests will be processed within 7 business days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you or your business.
  • Correction — Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Portability — Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Objection — Object to certain types of data processing where applicable law permits.

Where required, we act as a data processor on behalf of your business (the data controller) with respect to your end customers' data.
